“Elora” (el • or • ah) means “sun ray, God is my light”. This is the Hebrew origin of the name. After researching, praying, and waiting for months, I thought to myself, there’s no better fitting name than this.
Being afflicted by mental torment is equivalent to walking in darkness. Oftentimes you hear people say things like, “I felt like a dark cloud was over me” when describing their mental state. Elora is here to ensure that a light would shine on you and you will be free from all forms of darkness. “Those who walked in darkness, a light has come “(Isaiah 9:2).
